Optiferrin™ is an animal-free and defined recombinant human transferrin, for use in stem cell, primary cell, hybridoma, CHO and other cell lines. Optiferrin performs equivalent to native human transferrin in cell culture, and offers significant regulatory advantages due to its safety and consistency. Optiferrin is a universal iron carrier in cell culture, and can replace iron chelators, reducing variability and problems in downstream processing.
